Buckets fail in predictable places. Most of these can be repaired rather than replaced, and reinforcing the area while the machine is open usually costs less than coming back for the same crack.
Where repair stops making sense
If a bucket shell has thinned out across a wide area, welding one crack often just moves the next failure a few inches over. We will tell you when a bucket is at that stage instead of quietly repairing it twice. Structural repairs on load-bearing machine components are done to the extent field welding can properly address them; anything requiring engineered certification gets called out before work starts.

A photo of the crack and the whole bucket tells us the material thickness, the wear pattern, and whether the repair is a straightforward weld or a rebuild.

We confirm access
We need to get the mobile unit reasonably close to the machine and need the bucket positioned so the repair area is reachable and safely supported.

Repair on site
Cleaning, gouging out the crack, welding, and adding reinforcement or hardfacing where the wear pattern calls for it.

Talk through what caused it
If the crack is a symptom of how the bucket is loaded or of thin material, we will say so plainly, including when replacement is the better use of your money.
