What usually breaks on a trailer.
Trailers fail at the joints and at anything that takes repeated shock loading. Most of it is repairable, and catching a spreading frame crack early is far cheaper than replacing a frame rail.

Safety limits we hold to
Trailer frames, tongues, couplers, and axle mounts are safety-critical: a failure at highway speed puts other people at risk. We repair these to sound welding practice, and where a component is too far gone or where a repair would not be trustworthy under load, we will tell you it needs replacement instead of welding it and hoping. We do not certify or inspect trailers, and we do not weld on suspension or brake components that require certified replacement parts.

Tell us what cracked
Where the crack is and how the trailer is used matters. A tongue crack and a deck crack are very different repairs with different urgency.

Do not tow it if it is structural
If a frame rail, tongue, or coupler is cracked, towing it can turn a weld into an accident. Say so on the call and we will plan to come to it.

Repair and reinforce
Cleaning back to sound metal, welding, and adding gussets or plate where the original design was light for how you actually load it.
